Karna Charities International Foundation promotes and supports health related activities including diagnostic, treatment and post-treatment modalities for the benefit of underserved populations in the United States and abroad, especially women’s health needs, including obstetric and pediatric issues. A particular focus or ours is the Shree Vidyaguru Foundation and their affiliated Shree Lallubhai Sheth Arogya Mandir in Savar Kundla, Gujarat.
We do so by providing financial and other assistance for health care facilities, health care professionals and instructors, students of the healthcare professions, and for health care instructional facilities.
We also promote and support schools, colleges, training centers, and universities of medicine and the healing arts, including promoting and supporting students in these kinds of schools and institutions.
We also have an interest to construct, assist and support facilities and equipment, be they hospitals, clinics or mobile in nature.
To advocate for literacy, we also focus on literary, educational, social and cultural activities such as readings of poetry, plays and other literature; periodic meetings of persons interested in poetry, plays and other literature; dissemination of poetry, plays and other literature, and support of literary journals related to the publication and dissemination of poetry, plays and other literature.
